During his first year in LA he began attending a music school named “Paramount Academy of Music” where his passion for songwriting and performance began to take shape. Throughout this period he would routinely play shows around LA, alongside several iconic bands & musical artists - such as Tom Morello of “Rage Against the Machine”, “America,” and more. After many songwriting showcases and production classes, he released his first single at just 16 years old.
He has gone on to develop his own unique narrative writing style & sound. He writes of personal, yet universal themes, met with a lyrical depth & a creative vision rarely seen of someone his age. His style is heavily influenced by 90's alternative rock & inspired by artists such as Radiohead, Elliott Smith, Smashing Pumpkins, Fiona Apple, & Hole (to name a few). As a music fanatic himself, he says “intention, artistry, & brave experimentation” are the attributes he is most inspired by.
Micah’s dedication to music is just as potent as his devotion to acting. He's studied both acting & improv at numerous schools around LA & continually strives to expand his skillset.
